GUNS N' ROSES: 400 Weeks and Counting

Guns n' Roses' Greatest Hits has just moved into a select group of albums.

The collection just spent its 400th non-consecutive week on the Billboard 200 album chart, making it just one of seven albums to cross that threshold. The others are Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon (927 weeks), Johnny Mathis's Johnny’s Greatest Hits (490), the My Fair Lady original cast recording (480), Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Legend (471), Journey’s Greatest Hits (462) and Metallica’s black album (432).

GNR's Greatest Hits is the most recently released album on that list, as it came out in 2004. It's sold 5.9 million copies in that time.
