CHEAP TRICK: Just Like the Old Days

Cheap Trick are getting back to how they used to do things in the early days -- the band's second studio album in just over a year comes out today (Friday).

We're All Alright!, which takes its title from the final chorus of the band's classic "Surrender," is the follow-up to Bang, Zoom, Crazy...Hello, which came out in April 2016. This is the first time they've released new albums in back-to-back years since Standing on the Edge and The Doctor in 1985 and 1986.

Cheap Trick could make it three albums in less than two years -- they were in the studio again last month. Guitarist Rick Nielsen says they could have something out by the end of 2017 -- possibly the Christmas album they have talked about.

The band starts a brief European tour next Friday in Spain before U.S. dates this summer with Foreigner and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience.
