Despite the deaths of Butch Trucks in January and Gregg Allman in May, the two festivals produced by The Allman Brothers Band organization are going forward.
The Wanee Festival was held in April in Florida, and the Peach Music Festival will take place August 10th - 13th in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Gov't Mule, featuring Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Haynes, will headline over Widespread Panic, My Morning Jacket, Joe Bonamassa, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band. Les Brers, the Allmans' offshoot formed by Jaimoe and Butch Trucks, will do its final performance. An all-star tribute to Gregg and Butch is also on tap.
