ERIC CLAPTON: Reading About the Crossroads

High-end U.K. publisher Genesis, with Eric Clapton’s full blessing and approval, will release a signed, limited-edition book, Crossroads: Eric Clapton & Friends, detailing his five Crossroads Guitar Festivals in support of his Crossroads rehab center on Antigua.

The first one was a one-night affair in 1999 at New York's Madison Square Garden starring Bob Dylan, Mary J. Blige and Sheryl Crow.

In 2004 it was expanded to three days at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas with Vince Gill, ZZ Top, Jeff Beck, Carlos Santana, B.B. King, Joe Walsh and many others. The 2007 and 2010 shows were one-day events in Chicago with many of the same names. And in 2013 it was back to Madison Square Garden for two nights with Keith Richards, Jeff Beck, Robbie Robertson, The Allman Brothers Band and others.

Many of these artists have contributed to the book, which is filled with photos from the stage and backstage. Each hand-bound leather copy will be signed by at least two of the participating musicians and the proceeds from each one goes to the center.
