HUGH HEFNER: Will Spend Eternity Next to Marilyn Monroe

It's hard to imagine that Hugh Hefner could possibly be in a better place now, but he sure picked a prime spot to spend the rest of eternity in.

The late Playboy founder, who died Wednesday at age 91, will be interred at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles in a crypt right next to Marilyn Monroe. Hefner purchased the crypt in 1992 for $75,000 and said, "Spending an eternity next to Marilyn is too sweet to pass up."

The prime location is also significant for Hefner because Marilyn Monroe, who died in 1962, was the centerfold of Playboy's first issue in 1953. (TMZ)
