AEROSMITH: Perry Wants to Record New Music

Joe Perry now says that not only will Aerosmith's tour later this year not be their farewell, but that there's a possibility that they'll record an EP -- or possibly even a full-length album before it starts.

He tells BestClassicBands.com that he's discussed recording with Steven Tyler and that Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer have also discussed it. He says that they "haven’t gotten down to things specifically," that "it’s kind of in that chill time [right now] for Aerosmith," but that he'd "really like to [record] some new music."

Meanwhile, Perry's new solo album, Sweetzerland Manifesto, is out January 19th.
