The world of professional wrestling is mourning the loss of WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Valiant, who was hit by a truck and killed yesterday (Wednesday) in Pennsylvania.

The 71-year-old, whose real name was Thomas M. Sullivan, tried to run across a busy road and was struck by an oncoming truck. "Luscious" Johnny Valiant began his career in 1967 and wrestled into the early '80s. He then became the manager for a young Hulk Hogan and managed the "Dream Team" of Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake. After he retired from wrestling he went into acting and appeared in several episodes of The Sopranos and Law & Order. (EW)
