Bob Dylan wrapped up his Pacific tour today (Tuesday) in Christchurch, New Zealand and treated his audience to only the second performance of “Like a Rolling Stone” in the past five years. He also did “It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry” for the first time since 2005. He starts a U.S. tour on October 4th in Phoenix. He performs at The Saenger Theater, Mobile, October 17th.
Stevie Nicks, who once told us she doesn’t “My Face or My Space or Space Face,” now has an Instagram account, which promises exclusive photos as Fleetwood Mac prepare to launch their tour on October 3rd in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Toto's Steve Lukather is also new to Instagram, but adds, “I just gotta figure out how to use the thing.”

Yes featuring Anderson, Rabin, Wakeman started their 10-day U.S. tour Sunday night at the Whisky in West Hollywood, site of their first U.S. headlining shows in 1971. Keyboardist Rick Wakeman says the show was “wonderfully nostalgic… brought back so many great memories. [But] apologies to Jon, Trev and the band as I seemed to take up most of the stage [with my keyboards].”

Lynyrd Skynyrd has commented on the shooting spree in the band’s hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. “Sunday’s events have left us with heavy hearts for the victims and the families of this senseless tragedy. We wanted to let our community know that our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those killed and injured. We can only hope that the families and those affected can find some comfort this week. We will be [performing] in Jacksonville on Sunday with our friends and family, and hope that the power of music can bring people together to celebrate and enjoy each other's company.”
