SEGER, S&G, DEEP PURPLE: On Tarantino Movie Soundtrack

Bob Seger,Simon and Garfunkel,Neil Diamond and Deep Purple appear on the soundtrack of Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Along with the classic songs "Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man," "Mrs. Robinson," "Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show" and "Hush," the album includes three Paul Revere and the Raiders songs. There are also cuts by Mitch Ryder,Vanilla Fudge and Jose Feliciano-- who covers The Mamas and the Papas' "California Dreamin'" -- along with short recordings from L.A.'s iconic KHJ radio.

All the songs and clips fit the late 1960s time frame of the movie, which blends fact with fiction in a story that includes the Manson Family killing spree.

The soundtrack album will available on CD and vinyl, as well as by streaming. Both the album and the film are out today (Friday).
