PBS To Air New Woodstock Documentary August 6th

PBS will air a new documentary,Woodstock: Three Days That Defined a Generation, starting August 6th as part its American Experience series.

Good news for Woodstock Ventures, the owners of the Woodstock brand: A U.S. District Judge ruled on Monday that they can license the name to create a marijuana brand in celebration of the festival's 50th anniversary. Judge Paul Gardephe rejected a claim that the deal would infringe on the name of another company, Woodstock Roots. Woodstock Ventures and Woodstock Roots sued each other last year

And, while smoking your Woodstock cannabis, you may want to wear a piece of the original Woodstock stage, which has been fashioned into a necklace. Steve Gold was at the 1969 festival and years later he purchased the original wooden stage, which he has turned into a number of collectible artifacts such as pendants, stage frames and stage cubes, which feature nine-square-inch pieces of the stage.
