PAGE & PLANT: 25th Anniversary of Their Reunion

On August 25th, 1994 -- 25 years ago Sunday -- former Led Zeppelin bandmates Robert Plant and Jimmy Page reunited in a London studio to record an MTV Unplugged, which they called No Quarter: Unledded.

They had only made two appearances together since the band ended in 1980 -- fo rLive Aid in 1985 and for the Atlantic Records anniversary concert in 1988.

In addition to the studio footage, they performed in Marrakesh, Morocco and Snowdonia, Wales.No Quarter: Unledded first aired on October 12th, 1994 and was released as a live album two days later.

The reunion led to a tour in 1995 and a studio album, Walking Into Clarksdale, in 1998. The two have since done a show in 2001 at the Montreux Jazz Festival and, with John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham as Led Zeppelin, for a show in London in 2007.
