KISS Performed for the Sharks From a Boat

KISS did the hokiest -- and certainly smallest -- gig of their career today (Monday) on the back of a fishing boatoff the coast of Australia.

With eight fans in a sub below the surface and Paul Stanley home in Los Angeles with the flu,Gene Simmons,Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer played as a trio in the hopes of attracting sharks. None responded to a set that consisted of:

  1. "Calling Dr. Love"
  2. "Deuce"
  3. "I Love It Loud"
  4. "Black Diamond"
  5. "Rock and Roll All Nite"

Like critics, sharks apparently don't get KISS.

KISS were scheduled to be on tour this month Down Under, but canceled due to Stanley's health. They'll resume the End of the Road tour next month in Japan.
